Lazy Fashion: Keeping it Classy

Keeping it Classy

Keeping it Classy by enteen featuring an infinity ring

So Valentine's Day is coming up (February 14th for those of you who were unaware) and some of you have dates.  Some of you have work.  Some of you don't give a care in the world what day it is.  I am in all three.  Of course I have a date... a date with work... and that doesn't matter what day it is (St. Patty's, Valentines, New Years Eve).

The outfit above is simple, yet classy.  A nice blouse wit ha pair of dark jeggings and a grey cardigan.  Accessories pull it all together, a simple pearl necklace and a simple silver ring with a nice pair of knee high boots :).

So for those you who do care...or have an actual valentines date.  Consider making this your outfit instead of those cut up pieces of fabric that somehow classify as clothing, or that super short skirt that is totally not weather appropriate.

Let me know how it goes :)

Thoughtfully Yours,
C.C.

Addie's Style Book: Winter Walk

Winter Walk
When it's cold outside, it's easy to feel dull in fashion and beauty. Here's a quick look to keep fashionable without freezing!

I like thermal leggings for extra warmth and also good socks or well insulated boots are a must! In general, everyone likes to be comfortable so try layering a camisole under a thicker turtle neck or knit sweater.

Remember a good sunscreen and a light foundation or BB cream to keep your skin looking bright!!

Or, if it's too cold outside, it's the perfect excuse to stay in and cuddle with a cat, read a book, learn a language or bake a souffle!

Lazy Fashion: Mundane Mondays

Get it... It's Ironic.  This is what I wore out on a Monday Night out ;).  Live life on the edge.

Mundane Mondays

Mundane Mondays by enteen

Sometimes you make poor life choices and go out on a Monday.  Try this simple and easy (and lazy) outfit that looks good enough to get a few free beers.

I pair a bold coloured t-shirt with a pair of dark jeggings (black preferably).  A pair of statement flats and a nice silver necklace (or any other accessories you like).

Don't forget to put on some bold eye look (comment to see what I did) that complements your own natural beauty :)

Most of all, be safe and HAVE FUN!

Thoughtfully yours,
C.C.

Addie's Style Book: Airport Style

Airport Style

Travelling can be quite the hassle and can definitely take a toll on your look. For those long trips, my go-to style is low maintenance and chic. Here's an example of something I would wear for a long plane ride or any trip.

The flats are comfortable and perfect for having to run to catch a plane or train. And if you'll be sitting for a while leggings are a great basic to have. Plus they're warm which is perfect for over air-conditioned planes!

Wearing a cute camisole is an ideal way to dress up an otherwise low maintenance look so when you get to wherever you're going, you don't look too touristy!

Also, remember to wear glasses so your eyes don't get too dry (particularly if you're not used to wearing contact lenses on planes), bring a large tote to fit all your travel essentials and wear your hair in an easy and put together style. Happy travelling!

Thoughtfully yours,

Addie

Addie's Style Book: Fall Fashion 2

Fall Fashion 3

Today is so cold! I would be freezing without my layered knits. Cozy knits are stylish and warm. They're also an extremely comfortable way to look put together. When you're in the middle of a busy life filled with midterms it can be hard to work up the motivation to wear "real people clothes". So, here's the solution to looking put together when you're cold, tired and only have 15 minutes to get ready in the morning.

Makeup:

beauty

beauty by enteen featuring a black liquid eyeliner

Starting with a clean face, try a foundation with good coverage. I like Maybelline's Fit Me foundation. It feels light and is easy to apply. Next line your upper and lower lash line with a smooth eyeliner to open your eyes up.My favourite is Physician's Formula. Depending on my mood, I use coal, purple or espresso. To finish the look, try a rosy lipstick or gloss (see C.C.'s Colour Whisper Review ). I use a matte one which can also double as a cheek stain. It's important to add a little colour to the look so you don't look washed out or dull (particularly in the winter months).

As for hair, try a ponytail or a simple braid. They are quick and immediately make you look more put together. Check out Braids, Braids, Braids

Addie's Style Book: Fall Fashion 1

Fall fashion 2

I love experimenting with fashion in Fall. Since the weather can be variable it's a great opportunity to add dimension and layers to an outfit. The above outfit is something I would wear anywhere. It's great to go to class in, meet friends, or do errands in.

C.C. and I love to knit scarves and other projects so if you're up for it make your own circle scarf. Also check out ways to style a scarf, hairstyles and makeup ideas on our blog.

Stay stylish.

Addie

Lazy Fashion: Fall/Winter Exams

Fall/Winter Exams
It's that time of the year again when you can't figure out if it is going to be cold out or warm out.  So my go-to pieces will always be a nice pair of black leggings (I like them thick) and a solid coloured tank top!

You can pair it with a nice cardigan or a cute knit sweater and finish off your look with either a nice long chained necklace or a scarf!

I know that UGGs may not be the prettiest thing's in the world but you got to appreciate HOW EASY AND COMFORTABLE THEY ARE!!!  If not, consider pulling on a pair of boots instead.  If it's a bit warmer out, put on a pair of flats!  (Let's be real.  I wear my birks all the time.)

Also! Don't forget a huge tote bag to put all of your books in and get a pair of nice big glasses if you need them.

This look is comfortable and easy.  Honestly, I wear this when I head to the mall and know that when I get back I can get right back to studying without having to change into sweats (because who actually likes studying in jeans?)

Don't judge me.

What's your lazy fashion?
